Department of Visual & Performing Arts presents Spring Theatre Mainstage Production of "The Eumenides" Time: 8:00p - 10:00p Location: Horning Theater Details:
The concluding play of the only surviving Greek tragic trilogy, THE EUMENIDES presents the trial of Orestes for the murder of his mother, Clytemnestra. That is not all that is at stake in the play, however, as the outcome of Orestes’ trial will affect all of Greek civilization. Athena must choose—find Orestes innocent and acknowledge blood lust and revenge as acceptable, or find him guilty and condemn a fragile peace to possible destruction.
