      the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.     • Spin Time: 4:15p - 5:15p Location: Knott ARCC-Spin Studio Details:

      Instructors will guide you through several workout phases including warm-up, steady uptempo cadences, sprints, climbs, and cool-downs. You control resistance on your bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. Constant adjustment is normal. All you'll need is workout clothes, a towel (to wipe your face), a water bottle and lots of positive energy

      A 30 minute workout that tightens and tones core muscles; improves functional strength for balance, mobility & injury prevention; and motivates you to step outside your comfort zone

      The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. The goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked.       This 30-60 minute workout that challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like Squats, Presses. Lifts, and Curls.  Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for…and fast.  Space is limited to 24 people per class.  Get here early to sign in!

    • Body Myths: Unlearning the Diet Industries Myths and Learning to Love your Body Time: 7:00p - 8:00p Location: Knott Auditorium Details:

      As a society we are bombarded with messages that tell us we need to perfect our bodies in order to be beautiful. In reality, most of those messages are inaccurate and only serve to perpetuate the dieting industry’s financial gain. Come learn what is truth and what is fiction and start learning to love your body as it is.

      Presented by Jennifer Moran, Psy.D. Jennifer is a licensed psychologist and college liaison at the Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt.

      Ladies only strength training class held in the PNC Fitness Center. Registration required.  Free to all female Mount Students.  Space is limited to 10 participants.
