    • SPARC Fectival Time: All Day Location: Campus Wide Details:

      The SPARC Festival is a celebration of the academic and artistic accomplishments of Mount students. Modeled after an academic conference, it is a three day event which offers a wide variety of interesting and entertaining activities.

      Students in the University Honors program will present their year-long research projects. Poster sessions, lightning talks, a keynote speaker, and theatrical performances are also part of the event schedule. The festival closes with an outdoor celebration of music, performance, and student community service and leadership.

      A 30 minute workout that tightens and tones core muscles; improves functional strength for balance, mobility & injury prevention; and motivates you to step outside your comfort zone

       
       
    • BODYPUMP Time: 12:00p - 1:00p Location: Knott ARCC-Group Exercise Studio Details:

      60 minute workout challenges all your muscle groups by using best weight room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great music and awesome instructors!

      This 30-60 minute workout that challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like Squats, Presses. Lifts, and Curls.  Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for…and fast.  Space is limited to 19 people per class.  Get here early to sign in!

       
       
    • Spin Time: 4:15p - 5:15p Location: Knott ARCC-Spin Studio Details:

      Instructors will guide you through several workout phases including warm-up, steady uptempo cadences, sprints, climbs, and cool-downs. You control resistance on your bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. Constant adjustment is normal. All you'll need is workout clothes, a towel (to wipe your face), a water bottle and lots of positive energy!

       
       
    • Lighted Corners Premiere Time: 4:30p - 5:30p Location: Library Details:

      Mount St. Mary's literary magazine, Lighted Corners, is proud to announce its publication for 2013.

      The premiere will include readings from contributors to the magazine along with displays of the art. Food and drink will be provided. This event is free and open to the public.
