    • SPARC Fectival Time: All Day Location: Campus Wide Details:

      The SPARC Festival is a celebration of the academic and artistic accomplishments of Mount students. Modeled after an academic conference, it is a three day event which offers a wide variety of interesting and entertaining activities.

      Students in the University Honors program will present their year-long research projects. Poster sessions, lightning talks, a keynote speaker, and theatrical performances are also part of the event schedule. The festival closes with an outdoor celebration of music, performance, and student community service and leadership.

    • Spin Time: 6:15a - 7:00a Location: Knott ARCC-Spin Studio Details:

      Instructors will guide you through several workout phases including warm-up, steady uptempo cadences, sprints, climbs, and cool-downs. You control resistance on your bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. Constant adjustment is normal. All you'll need is workout clothes, a towel (to wipe your face), a water bottle and lots of positive energy!

      the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.       The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. The goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked. Achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!

      This 30-60 minute workout that challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like Squats, Presses. Lifts, and Curls.  Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for…and fast.  Space is limited to 19 people per class.  Get here early to sign in!

       
       
    • Piyo Time: 6:30p - 7:30p Location: Knott ARCC-Group Exercise Studio Details:

      A method of physical and mental conditioning by blending basic Pilates exercises and Yoga poses.  This class stresses core muscle strength, as well as overall muscular lengthening and strengthening, through a series of exercises performed standing, seated, or lying on the floor.  Work to achieve a balanced body.
