    • Spring into Fitness Challenge Time: All Day Location: Campus Wide Details:

      Participate in a minimum of 15 minutes of purposeful healthy activity and record it online to help the Mount win the Bronze Shoe.

      Challenge runs for six weeks.

      1-3 lanes available for lap swimming plus additional space for fitness and recreation.

       
       
    • Simon Gabriel Brute Student Art Exhibition Time: 10:00a - 1:00p Location: Delaplaine Fine Arts Center: Williams Gallery Details:

      The Simon Gabriel Bruté Student Art Exhibition is an annual juried event open to all current students at the Mount. This exhibition encompasses all mediums including four categories, painting, works on paper, mixed media/sculpture, and book art.

    • BODYCOMBAT Time: 12:30p - 1:30p Location: Knott ARCC-Group Exercise Studio Details:

      the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, you strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness. 

       
       
    • Tour and Discussion Time: 2:00p - 4:00p Location: Admissions Office Details:

      During the academic year, the Admissions Office will offer student-led campus tours MOST Mondays through Fridays at 2 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged, as space is limited. This tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and showcases the main academic campus and our east campus athletic facilities. Each tour can be followed by an optional discussion with an Admissions Representative.

    • Faith in Psychology: How your Catholic Faith can shape your career as a practicing psychologist Time: 6:00p - 7:00p Location: Laughlin Auditorium Details:

      Come out and hear Dr. Margaret Laracy speak about how her Catholic faith has shaped her career as a practicing psychologist, both as a professional in the working world and clinically as a psychologist! 

      Margaret Laracy, Psy. D., is a clinical psychologist who works with adolescents and adults doing both psychotherapy and psychological testing. Her clinical interests include marital and group psychotherapy. She has taught professional ethics and several clinical courses at the graduate level. Her scholarly interests include various topics in the relationship between Christian anthropology and clinical psychology. In particular, she is interested in the role of beauty in mental health and in psychotherapy, which was the topic of her doctoral dissertation. 

      Dr. Margaret Laracy is currently in private practice at Vital Sources in Frederick MD and is part-time assistant professor at the Institute for the Psychological Sciences in Arlington, VA.

    • Spin Time: 6:00p - 7:00p Location: Knott ARCC-Spin Studio Details:

      Instructors will guide you through several workout phases including warm-up, steady uptempo cadences, sprints, climbs, and cool-downs. You control resistance on your bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. Constant adjustment is normal. All you'll need is workout clothes, a towel (to wipe your face), a water bottle and lots of positive energy

       
       
    • Hydrofit Class & Lap Swim Time: 6:30p - 7:30p Location: ARCC - Pool Details:

      Hydrofit is a deep and shallow water fitness class.

      1-3 lanes will be available for lap swimming only during this class.

       
       
    • Zumba Time: 6:30p - 7:30p Location: Knott ARCC-Group Exercise Studio Details:

      The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. The goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked. Achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!
