    • Intramural Floor Hockey & ITWP Playoffs Time: All Day Location: ARCC Details:

    • Spin Time: 6:15a - 7:00a Location: Knott ARCC-Spin Studio Details:

      Instructors will guide you through several workout phases including warm-up, steady uptempo cadences, sprints, climbs, and cool-downs. You control resistance on your bike to make the pedaling as easy or difficult as you choose. Constant adjustment is normal. All you'll need is workout clothes, a towel (to wipe your face), a water bottle and lots of positive energy!

       
       
    • 10am Campus Tour and Discussion Time: 10:00a - 11:30a Location: Admissions Office Details:

      During the academic year, the Admissions Office will offer student-led campus tours MOST Mondays through Fridays at 10 a.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged, as space is limited. This tour lasts approximately 1 hour and showcases the main academic campus. Each tour can be followed by an optional discussion with an Admissions Representative.

    • BODYCOMBAT Time: 12:30p - 1:30p Location: Knott ARCC-Group Exercise Studio Details:

      the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.       During the academic year, the Admissions Office will offer student-led campus tours MOST Mondays through Fridays at 2 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged, as space is limited. This tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours and showcases the main academic campus and our east campus athletic facilities. Each tour can be followed by an optional discussion with an Admissions Representative.

       
       
    • Blue, Gold, & Green: A Go-Green Event Time: 3:00p - 6:00p Location: Horning Hospitality Suite Details:

      The first Mount Go-Green event to get students and faculty involved in living more "green" lifestyles. A fun event, where the Mount community can participate in games, and learn more about how to go green in their lives. This event is set up like an activities fair so people can come and go as they please!

       
       
    • Zumba Time: 4:15p - 5:15p Location: Knott ARCC-Group Exercise Studio Details:

      The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. The goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked. Achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!

       
       
    • "Youth Activism and The Children's March," Dr. Michelle Patterson Time: 5:00p - 6:00p Location: AC 224 Details:

      Using the short film “The Children’s March” as a framework, Dr. Patterson will discuss the significance of youth activism during the Civil Rights era.

      This 30-60 minute workout that challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises like Squats, Presses. Lifts, and Curls.  Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for…and fast.  Space is limited to 19 people per class.  Get here early to sign in!

       
       
    • School of Education and Human Services Time: 6:00p - 7:00p Location: Laughlin Auditorium Details:

      Dr. Jennifer Danridge Turner, Associate Professor in Reading, University of Maryland, will present "Strengthening Academic Literacy through Culture Community, and the Common Core."    Dr. Turner's scholarship focuses on responsive and rigorous instruction for African American elementary readers; preparing K-6 reading teachers for diversity; and globalizing teacher education.

    • Piyo Time: 6:30p - 7:30p Location: Knott ARCC-Group Exercise Studio Details:

      A method of physical and mental conditioning by blending basic Pilates exercises and Yoga poses.  This class stresses core muscle strength, as well as overall muscular lengthening and strengthening, through a series of exercises performed standing, seated, or lying on the floor.  Work to achieve a balanced body.
